Music has the power to set the tone of any given service. Music has always been able to sooth and calm people’s hearts and minds as well as encourages and excites. We know that Saul would have David play his harp to help him calm down. My prayer is the music program here at Parker First Baptist Church will bring us to a place of full surrendered worship to God, that the words of the songs would take root and meaning in our souls as we worship together. The music that is performed is not taken lightly or chosen lightly but through time in prayer asking God to direct the services and bring us as a body of believers to a place of Holiness and readiness to hear what the Lord would speak to us through the preaching. We believe that the music we sing and the heart in which it is sung should be real and relevant. We have exciting opportunities to minister through song with a choir, praise team or individual performances. We invite you to worship with us this Sunday. We also have choir practice every Wednesday night at 6:15pm. We would love for you to come and join us in a time of praise.
