Hello, and welcome to the TEN31 youth ministries web page. My name is Andrew Heptinstall and I’m the youth pastor here at Parker First Baptist Church. God has given me a specific calling to work with youth and to help prepare them for the many challenges they will face in this ever changing world. My heart’s cry is that every youth that walks through the doors at Parker First Baptist will be affected in some way and will not walk out those doors the same way they were when they entered.

My vision:

My vision has never been to have the biggest youth group in Florida. My vision has always been to “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to have the biggest youth group, but I don’t want kids to come just because it’s entertainment. I want kids to come because God is being revealed, truth is being preached, and we’re having fun doing it.

Yearly Events:

Every year the youth group goes on a week long summer trip. We also will go to concerts, theme parks, D-Now weekend trips, and mission trips. We have movie nights, guy sleepovers and girl sleepovers (two separate events held at two separate locations), SNACs (Sunday Night After Church usually entails food, games, and fellowship), youth rallies held here at our church and other churches. We do fund raisers like: Valentine Banquet and cake auction, bagging groceries, car washes, yard sales, and yard/house work for donations.

Weekly Events:

Wednesday night is our TEN31 youth night starting at 6:15 and ending at 7:15. Sunday at 9:15-10:30a.m is Sunday school, and Sundays at 5-7:00p.m is Discipleship training.
